Better Education International co-ordinates educational links between Scotland and China.

We specialise in facilitating international educational exchanges, visits, inter-cultural studies including business practices, language training, participation in arts, tourism and leisure activities, residential projects and sharing learning and teaching resources.

Wendy Wu - Education Consultant

Wendy Wu, the founder of Better Educational International, has been working in the education field for more than 10 years. As an Education Officer for the Scottish Arts Council, she managed the Champion Culture in Scottish Schools (CCiSS). This is a national initiative funded by Scottish Executive as part of the Scottish Cultural Strategy. Before joining the Scottish Arts Council, she co-ordinated a Lothian's partnership project for a consortium involving 9 educational organisations. She developed training projects for black ethnic minorities in Edinburgh and also advised the trainees on further training and employment.

Prior to coming to the UK in 1999, she broadcasted and produced campus radio programmes in central China. This was followed by 5 years teaching English and management in school and colleges.

She was a board director for LinkNet Mentoring Ltd for several years and also holds an MSc in Tourism Management from Napier University.
